Who are you?

- You have a minimum of MBO 3 working and thinking level;

- You have a Boa certificate or wish to obtain one through us;

- You are interested in camera surveillance and want to take training courses;

- You can communicate clearly and calmly and work well under pressure;

- You have a good command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing;

- You can work with a computer and quickly switch between different systems;

- You can obtain a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).

What will you do?

As a control room/camera surveillance employee, you are a specialist in camera surveillance. You look at camera images, take reports from citizens and direct Boas and supervisors. You also assess ANPR camera images, where vehicles without a permit are photographed and fined. You will work a fixed schedule (7 days, 24 hours a day) and be part of team Supervision and Enforcement that takes care of safety in Heerlen.

Your Team 

The Enforcement team has about 60 colleagues. In the control room, 14 people work, always at least 2 at a time. On weekends, police supervisors are also present.

What do you get in return?

The position is graded in scale 5 with a gross monthly salary of a minimum of €2,288 and a maximum of €3,327 per month (depending on education and experience, for full-time employment). As of October 1, this will be a minimum of €2,316 gross and a maximum of €3,369 gross. An HR21 recalibration process is currently underway for this position, among others. Although the decision-making process is still in progress, we expect that the position will soon be valued in scale 6, instead of the current scale 5.

You will also receive an 8% irregularity allowance. This is a structural position. The first employment contract will be for a fixed term. With good performance, there is a prospect of permanent employment. 

Furthermore, you get an individual choice budget (IKB). This is 17.05% of your salary. We also offer opportunities for training, flexible working hours, our own sports incentive scheme and a flexible vitality budget in the form of a digital currency (Vitknip) that you can use in many places in Heerlen to increase your vitality.
