Projects for and by the neighborhood

We don’t build strong neighborhoods on our own. The municipality joins forces with residents and external partners such as neighborhood organizations, community police officers, the “ Buurtteams ” in Heerlen, housing authorities, and business owners. Through “Samen in de Buurt Heerlen,” many ideas emerge for making the neighborhood more pleasant, more welcoming, safer, and cleaner. Together, we carry out these plans.
