If you want to build or renovate, you’ll often need an environmental permit. A lot of information is available online, but it’s not always easy for everyone to find. The Omgevingsloket Heerlen is here to help. They’ll explain all the rules and how to submit a digital application.
Consultation hours are every Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Explore your idea at the intake table
Would you like to explore your idea and have your plan reviewed in detail? Through the Intake Table, you can assess in advance whether your idea has potential. They will review your plan before you apply for a permit. You will then receive advice on possible next steps.
If the recommendation is positive and you submit your application to the Environmental Permit Office, we will deduct the cost of the intake consultation from the application fee. This will also speed up your permit application!
Applications for environmental permits
The final application for an environmental permit is submitted to the national environmental desk. This is done online. For all information about the application, see the page on applying for an environmental permit.
