Avantis
Avantis business park is a business park on the border between the Netherlands (Heerlen) and Germany (Aachen).
Avantis houses technology companies in the logistics and manufacturing sectors. A number of companies are actually located on the border! Companies such as DHL, Arion, and DocMorris are based at Avantis.
Trilandis
Trilandis is located in the southeast of the city, close to the Dutch-German border, next to the Avantis business park. Its location, directly on the A76 and N281 motorways, provides excellent connections to Germany, Belgium, and France. Trilandis focuses primarily on medical technology logistics. Companies such as Medtronic, CEWA, Abbott Vascular, and Acist are located here.

On Trompenburgstraat, a side street of Terhoevenderweg, the municipality of Heerlen has developed a number of plots for entrepreneurs. These plots are intended for commercial use, not retail. There is still plenty of space available for entrepreneurs to set up shop here!

The Chisel
With an area of 132 hectares, the Beitel business park is the largest business park in the Parkstad Limburg region.
De Beitel consists mainly of large and medium-sized, supra-regional businesses. The established companies are mainly active in the wholesale, industry, transport, and distribution sectors. International companies such as Kobelco, Mondi Heerlen, Avient, and ICL Everris are located here.
In addition to international companies, there are also local SMEs such as Giessen Staal, Steinbusch, Oostwegel Special Products, etc. Excellent accessibility via the A76 and N281 motorways is one of the key qualities of the business park.
De Koumen and Emma, business parks in Heerlen-Noord
The Koumen
With an area of 48 hectares, De Koumen is the largest business park in the Heerlen-Noord industrial area. De Koumen is characterized by a mix of companies, ranging from heavy industry to small-scale craft and trading companies.
Emma Business Park
The industrial estate is located in the north of the municipality of Heerlen. It is bordered by Passartweg to the south, the municipal boundary between Heerlen and Brunssum to the west and north, and the existing Weggebekker industrial estate and green area to the east. The industrial estate is primarily intended for business purposes and wholesale trade, not retail trade.
