The "Space for Entrepreneurship" grant scheme applies to different types of enterprises:

• retail
• hospitality
• service 

For each company or entrepreneur, the municipality provides a grant of €6,000. With the scheme, we want to strengthen these areas and stimulate entrepreneurship in Heerlen.

You get half of the amount when you open the business. The other part after a certain period of time.

These include the Requirements for getting a contribution:

• It applies only to the filling of a vacant property.
• Your business premises are located within restricted areas in the center areas Heerlen-Centrum, Hoensbroek-center, Heerlerheide-center or Heerlerbaan-De Bautsch.
• Your business is on the first floor of a building.
• You must submit a substantiated business plan with the application.
