Free opening hours hospitality business part Heerlen center

We release the opening hours for wet catering establishments in part of the downtown area on the night of Friday to Saturday and the night of Saturday to Sunday. No closing hours will apply.
The area is Pancratiusplein, Geleenstraat 1, Bongerd 18 and Pancratiusstraat with the exception of terraces.

Approach

The catering establishments follow the Requirements , otherwise we can exclude a catering company from further participation. Or the mayor gives instructions by, for example, not allowing visitors in after 4:00 AM. 

Description

The free opening hours apply to the Heerlen center area. The area is Pancratiusplein, Geleenstraat 1, Bongerd 18 and Pancratiusstraat with the exception of the terraces.

Requirements

Requirements for the release of opening hours for the catering area of Heerlen-Centrum are: 

  • Businesses are required to operate with active door policies starting at 03:00. This means supervision at the door.
  • It does not apply to the terraces of catering establishments. Terraces are allowed to be open until 3 a.m. these nights.

A small number of "wet catering establishments" outside the mentioned area but in Heerlen center are subject to a transitional right. This right does not apply to new catering establishments.
