Have you ever done a geocache hike? No. Then now is your chance with the extra adventurous Adventurelab by SCHUNCK and Explorion on Wednesday, November 12 at 2 p.m.
Through an app with a map, we explore and learn from the city. Children ages 8 and up - preferably accompanied by (grand)parent - can take an adventurous discovery tour.
We will depart from SCHUNCK and go on an exploration of our beautiful city via so-called waypoints.
What you need. Good sense and a cell phone (ask your parents) with the free Geocaching Adventure Lab app installed. All further explanation and support you will receive upon departure from SCHUNCK. So join us on an adventure through the city.
Reserve your (free) ticket here.
For primary and secondary school teachers, there is also the opportunity that afternoon (starting at 3:30 p.m.) to get information about geocaching as a teaching tool: so-called "location-based learning. Send your students outside and let them discover heritage with Explorion's geocaches and Adventurelabs on themes such as Romans, WWII, the mines, water management and more. The people at Explorion are happy to give you all the information and explanations on how to use the (free) apps and deploy them in your own curriculum.
