Barbecuing in the Aambos

The municipality is holding a trial this summer with the possibility of barbecuing in the Aambos. Five barbecue spots will be set up in the lawn on Molenberglaan that can be used starting July 1. The trial will run for a maximum of six months and will then be evaluated.

Alderman Marco Peters of Management and Maintenance: "The municipality is continuously working to improve the quality of public space. Part of this includes the further development and experience of the Aambos. We are therefore constantly looking for new things that can make a stay in the Aambos more pleasant. In this way we want to do more justice to this wonderful park and its qualities. When constructing the barbecue areas, we expressly took into account safety for the surroundings. That is why they are provided with gravel."
