Messages about your Neighborhood in your mail

Many decisions made by the government directly affect your neighborhood. What renovation does your neighbor want to have done to their house? May that tree in your street be cut down? Your municipality and other government organizations are required to announce this (digitally). We call these announcements 'Messages about your Neighborhood'. Soon you will receive these via e-mail.

With this e-mail, the government wants to keep you better informed about issues in your own neighborhood. It also makes it clear how you can have a say or file an objection.

Every resident of the Netherlands aged 25 and older whose email address is known to MijnOverheid will first receive a welcome email. This contains all the information you need. Via MijnOverheid you can set how often you want to receive the e-mail and how large an area the announcements concern. Don't want to receive e-mails? Then you can unsubscribe directly and easily.

Digital security

You are receiving the e-mail from Government.com. This e-mail contains links to website addresses so you can easily and quickly access the information. Unfortunately, criminals are also active on the Internet. Via links in fake e-mails they try to lure you to fake websites (phishing). Therefore, always check the sender(noreply@overheid.nl) before clicking on a link.
