Then make an appointment with the municipality. You can view the building plans digitally on a screen at the municipality.

Construction drawings from before 2010

You can find these in the archives of the Limburg Historical Center. This is the center for regional history. For Heerlen, this is the Limburg Historical Center.
On this website, you can check whether building plans are available at the Limburg Historical Center. If so, you can view them in the reading room during opening hours.

Costs

Would you like copies of the construction drawings? There is a charge for this. You may take photos of the drawings with a digital camera.

Description

You can request and view building plans and drawings. For example, because you want to object to an environmental permit in your neighborhood. You can view the plans and drawings of both existing and new buildings. The municipality has a register for this purpose.

The register includes, among other things:

  • information about environmental permits applied for and granted
  • construction drawings (the drawings accompanying applications for environmental permits)
  • the location and cadastral data of the structure
  • information about the construction work

Requirements

The Requirements viewing building plans and construction drawings are:

  • You can always view the plans and drawings for existing buildings.
  • You can view the plans and drawings for new buildings after the municipality has announced the application for the new building.
