View building plans and construction drawings

Would you like to see drawings of existing construction? These are drawings of granted building permits. Construction drawings from after 1990 can be requested online at municipality. Construction drawings from before 1990 can be requested at the Historical Center Limburg (HCL).

Approach

This allows you to view building plans and construction drawings:

Go to the Environment Counter.
Locate on the map the structure whose building plans and construction drawings you want to see. You can request them immediately.
Log in:
- for yourself: with DigiD
- For a company: with eRecognition

Cost

Do you want copies of construction drawings? There is a fee for this. However, you are allowed to take pictures of the drawings with a digital camera.

Building plans from before 1990

You will find these in the archives of Historical Center Limburg. This is the center for regional history. For Heerlen this is Rijckheyt.
Through this website you can look up whether building plans are available at the Historical Center Limburg. If so, you can view them in the reading room during opening hours.

Construction drawings from after 1990

Are the building plans from after 1990? If so, please fill out the contact form at municipality . You can get the building plan digitally by e- mail. This may also be to someone else's e-mail address (for example, your children/neighbors or friends).

No own mail address:
Please make an appointment at the municipality. You can view the construction drawing digitally on a screen at the municipality .

Conditions for viewing building plans and construction drawings are:

Of existing structures, you can always see the plans and drawings.
Of new structures, you can see the plans and drawings after the municipality announces the application for the new structure.
