Help with care questions (Buurtteams )

If you have questions about parenting, unemployment, daily activities, relationship problems, mental health issues, debt, loneliness, living independently, or Health, you can contact Buurtteams . The support is free of charge. 
From January 1, 2026, Buurtteams will also assist residents with applications for support and daytime activities with a personal budget. For residents who already receive support, nothing will change for the time being. You will continue to receive support from your trusted provider and employee. You can submit new applications or changes to your agreements to Buurtteams .

Available every working day between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on tel: 088-2986395 and outside office hours on tel: 010-2046324. You can also visit your local neighborhood center.

Crisis

Buurtteams is only available on working days. In case of a crisis, you can also request assistance outside of working hours:

  • The general crisis number for Youth South Limburg, tel: 043-6045777 (24/7)
  • If you suspect child abuse or domestic violence, you can contact Safe Home, by calling 0800-2000 (free of charge, 24 hours). This can also be done anonymously.
  • In case of sexual violence, please contact the Center for Sexual Violence, by calling 0800-0188 (free, 24h)
  • In life-threatening situations, call the police at telephone number: 112
