Double Bill with Rotunda and Public Attention

Public Attention 

An audiovisual performance is composed of video and audio recordings collected at and around political gatherings. Projected footage and surround sound intertwine with live vocals, electronic compositions, and a siren.

Navigating the space between the sounds of protest and the technologies that seek to contain them, *Public Attention* explores how collective sound can mobilize presence and generate collective attention. 

Public Attention is a collaboration between Roman Tkachenko, Goya van der Heyden, and Anllel Maria.

Rotunda

Air bubbles, distortions, and irregular grooves create a rich sound spectrum—ranging from subtle crackling sounds and resonances to low, sustained rumblings. The properties of the glass determine how the sound is produced, making the material itself audible.

During Rotunda, Didianne Leusink explores how glass, tape, and other analog systems interact with one another. Through live manipulation and experimentation, a dynamic dialogue unfolds between control and chance, listening and action.

Everyone is free to move about the space. Every movement reveals new details and perspectives within the ever-changing soundscape.
