Eleven new homes at Bertus Aafjeshof in Hoensbroek

The municipality of Heerlen has granted Daelmans Vastgoed of Maastricht an environmental permit for the construction of 11 homes at the Bertus Aafjeshof in Hoensbroek. These are new-build homes for starters and young families.

The vacant lot will be home to 10 semi-detached houses and one semi-detached detached house. Each home will have its own garage. The homes will be sold under the National Mortgage Guarantee limit or rented out. The start of construction work is at the end of this year. The homes are expected to be completed within one year of the start of construction.

Top priority

Alderman Marco Peters of Spatial Planning:

"The realization of housing construction in Heerlen is top priority. And this is a valuable addition to the housing supply in Hoensbroek, improving the quality of the location and strengthening the neighborhood. At a time of great housing shortage among starters in the housing market, this kind of project is of great importance for the city."

Durable addition

Project Manager Edgar Felix of Daelmans Vastgoed said, "These homes are a great sustainable addition to the Parkstad housing market programming and to Daelmans Vastgoed's real estate portfolio."

With this authorization, the final homes will be added to the Bertus Aafjeshof. The realization of these homes is the final piece of the Bertus Aafjeshof development.
