Photographer Peter Vinck exhibits his photo series 'Heerlen Mural Capital' from 2 to 16 February in De Nieuwe Galerij in Heerlen-Centrum. This photo exhibition can be visited free of charge from Thursday to Sunday between 12:00 and 17:00. The idea behind the photo series and exhibition is to make people reflect on the role of art and culture in our society. And in this case, street art in particular.
Heerlen is not only the mural capital of the Netherlands, but also an excellent example of how art and culture can contribute to the development and identity of a city. With this exhibition, photographer Peter Vinck wants to show how street art has transformed Heerlen.
