Raw materials park

Rd4 manages a recycling center for the municipality where you can bring your recyclables and waste. You can dispose of your bulky waste free of charge twice a year. Bulky waste includes roofing felt, insulation material, and worn-out sofas.

Approach

If you are disposing of waste containing asbestos, you must package it properly. This is how you dispose of waste containing asbestos:

  • You must double-wrap the asbestos waste.
  • Use transparent, non-air-permeable film with a thickness of 0.2 mm for this purpose.
  • Seal the seams with tape.

Description

This includes bulky household waste, larger quantities of waste (such as garden waste), consumer goods (such as refrigerators, televisions, and household appliances), chemical waste (such as paint, batteries, and oil products), and special waste (such as asbestos). Special rules apply to the disposal of asbestos. You must package the asbestos waste. You can read how to do this under 'Do it yourself or take it with you'. Stick a label on it with the text 'asbestos'. The total quantity may not exceed 35 m2.

Requirements

  • You may only enter the Rd4 raw materials parks with your environmental pass and valid ID.
  • You can only pay by debit card.
  • You must separate the waste by type.
  • You may not dispose of waste from businesses or commercial activities.
