On May 30, Heerlen City Center will be transformed into a giant playground
On Saturday, May 30, the center of Heerlen will turn into a playground. The event will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is the fourth time we’ve organized this event.

There will be more than 20 free activities in the city center. You can play, exercise, and get creative. There’s something fun for everyone to do. All activities are free.
Amateur Arts Week, too
This year also marks the start of Heerlen Amateur Arts Week. That’s why there will be even more activities. You can check out:
- Local talent
- Music and dance
- Visual arts
- Creative workshops
Alderman Jordy Clemens : "This year, you can once again explore, get involved, and have fun. Our downtown will be a world full of action, theater, technology, art, and imagination. Thanks to our partnership with Amateur Arts Week, there’s even more to experience this year. Come by, join in, and let yourself be surprised."
