A visual and playful family performance about letters, words and sentences
In Hoeheettut you will discover ABCs in the form of words and images, word images and image words. You will see fighting, dancing, laughing, roaring, royal and failed letters, together with other linguistic and musical craziness, underwater and above.
Hoeheettut is based on new and existing texts and drawings by Joke van Leeuwen, such as from 'Mooi boek' that was awarded the Zilveren Griffel in 2016. The books and the life of the author are the source of inspiration for the characters, the costumes and the decor. In a collaboration between Joke van Leeuwen and director Lieke Benders, all of this has been edited into a bouncy and colorful story for children who are just starting to read (6+) and everyone who loves language.
