Filing a complaint about a tender

Procurement and tendering in a good way is very important for municipalities. The Municipality of Heerlen adheres to the objectives of the procurement policy. We adhere to the procurement policy for all public contracts.

Contact the municipality and state your complaint.

Description

If the municipality wants to hire a company for a large contract, it must do so with a tender. In a tender, the municipality first describes what the contract is, and what the requirements are to get the contract. Companies that are suitable for the contract can bid. Then the municipality chooses the company that best fits the job.

Do you think the municipality did not do a tender properly? Or do you think that the municipality did not tender a contract without good reason? Then you can file a complaint with the municipality.

The complaints hotline applies to all procurement. Send your complaint to: klachtenmeldpuntaanbesteden@heerlen.nl. 

Have you filed a complaint with the municipality, but do not agree with the outcome or handling? Then you can ask the court whether the municipality made a mistake.
