Subsidy for local insulation measures

Do you own a home in Heerlen with a WOZ value of less than €260,000 (reference date 2022) and a low energy label (D, E, F, or G)? If so, you may be eligible for a subsidy from the municipality of Heerlen to insulate your home. The WoonWijzerWinkel Limburg will visit you to draw up an energy-saving plan. You will make your home more energy efficient, save on energy costs, and increase your living comfort.

Approach

Make an appointment online at the WoonWijzerWinkel for an energy saving plan and discover what we can do for you.
The municipality will pay the subsidy to you, or—if you choose a construction company recommended by the municipality—directly to that company. Apply for the subsidy in good time. We have reserved a fixed amount.

Description

The WoonWijzerWinkel Limburg visits all neighborhoods on behalf of the municipality to bring this subsidy to your attention. The visit from the energy coach is free of charge and without obligation; you are therefore not obliged to incur any costs or have any work carried out. You can receive a subsidy for one or more of the following measures:

  • Cavity wall, floor, floor or roof insulation
  • Attic or attic floor insulation
  • Façade insulation
  • HR++ or HR+++ glass (and frame panels)
  • Insulating doors (only together with new window frames)
  • Energy-efficient ventilation (only if you also insulate)

Additional subsidy opportunities:

  • DIY enthusiasts: Owner-occupiers who carry out insulation measures themselves can receive a subsidy of up to €4,000.
  • Mixed associations: Homeowners' associations, housing associations, and housing cooperatives can count on support of up to €4,000 per poorly insulated home for insulation and ventilation of buildings.

Requirements

  • You are the owner and occupant of the property
  • Your home has at least two poorly insulated building components (this usually means that your home has an energy label of D, E, F, or G).
  • Your home was built before 1992.
  • Your home has a WOZ value below €260,000 (reference date 2022).
