Jeroen Eijkenboom
Jeroen Eijkenboom knows the municipality of Heerlen well. He initially worked as team manager for Policy and Community Affairs. In January 2025, he was appointed director of Community Affairs. Since July 1, 2026, he has also served as interim municipal secretary and general director.
In his combined role, Jeroen ensures administrative continuity. He is committed to creating an accessible municipality that is close to its residents. Together with the municipality’s staff, he works every day to build a vibrant Heerlen where everyone can participate.
