On “Vetdonnesjtig”, the well-known Thursday before the three döl days, carnival is traditionally heralded in Hoensbroek with the well-known “Kowrenne”. People come from far and wide to the Market in Hoensbroek to experience this entertaining event live. This season promises to be a lot of fun again, when the cows, with their udders tied, compete against each other in the arena on Thursday 27 February 2014. The cows have been preparing for some time now; they have walking training, get udder massage and mental coaching.
Who will be the fastest Kow this year? And who can call themselves the most beautiful Kow? We will know on Thursday evening! This year, new teams will also enter the Kowren arena. Cheer them on and celebrate afterwards in the various cafés.
