On that night, this heroic match for a place in the ¼ final of the then UEFA Cup was only broadcast in summary form. Only a few people saw Roda JC capitulate only after penalty kicks to the great AC Milan, which would win the Champions League a year later....

Over 23 years later, footage of this historic match has surfaced in the media archive in Hilversum. On Thursday evening, September 18, we will broadcast this contest in its entirety on a large screen in the Auditorium of SCHUNCK Library in Heerlen. Under the direction of The Voice of Kaalhei we will preview the match with special guests. Roda Radio will provide live commentary of the match.
