Investing Together in Physical Activity

With the covered outdoor gym, De Regenboog Elementary School and the municipality of Heerlen are working together to promote physical activity and health among children. The covered outdoor gym allows students to play sports all year round, regardless of the weather. This is important for their physical development and academic performance. A unique sports area in the schoolyard

The outdoor gym is equipped with a variety of play and sports equipment, such as climbing frames, rings, and other exercise equipment. Students use the space during gym class and at recess. The outdoor gym offers many opportunities for all students at De Regenboog Elementary School. The opening was a fun, active, and informative day.
