Organization Municipality of Heerlen
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen administer the municipality on a daily basis. They implement the policies of the municipal council. The council makes the decisions about those policies and checks that the College is implementing them properly.
The organization of the congregation consists of:
- Domain City, which deals with Space & Economy
 - Domain Society, which deals with Society & Residents
 - Domain Operations, which deals with Organization & Resources
 - Administrative Service
 

The administrative department works in the service of the town clerk on overarching (political) themes from the college. For each domain there is a director. Together with the town clerk, the three directors form the Executive Board.
Each domain consists of several teams, each with its own manager. These managers and the director make up the domain management.
Administrative Service
The administrative department is responsible for providing strategic advice at the political-administrative level. In addition, they are responsible for program management. Some of the municipality's tasks are so large and complex that they are incorporated into a program. A program manager from the administrative department directs these programs.
