Richtig Heële from this carnival season also in Heëlehei and Gebrook

With Richtig Heële, Richtig Heëlehei and Richtig Gebrook, Heerlen wants to profile itself even more as a city where carnival is celebrated in a unique way. This with events accessible to everyone and a public campaign that gives it its own colorful face. 

Richtig Heële

In Heerlen-Centrum in 2025, an open pavilion on the Pancratiusplein will again be chosen to host free events such as MiseraBAL and Sjtundje Knipa. Of course, the various parades will also pass through downtown Heerlen. But first, H.V.V. de Winkbülle will celebrate its 7x11th anniversary in November 2024 with a special party weekend in the Nieuwe Nor. On Friday, November 22, the Winkbülle is organizing an evening for young people between the ages of 12 and 18. One day later, on Saturday, November 23, the anniversary reception followed by a free party night for all carnival revellers is planned. 

Richtig Heëlehei

C.V. 'De Bokkeriejesj govern the vasteloavend in Heëlehei every year. On Thursday 9 and Friday 10 January 2025, the association helps organize the semi-finals of the Limburgs Vastelaovesleedjes Konkoer (LVK). This song festival will take place in Cultural Center 'Corneliushuis' in Heererheide and will search for the carnival act and hit of 2025. L1 broadcasts the LVK. In the February carnival month of 2025, C.V. 'De Bokkeriejesj will again make sure that the Children's Parade and the Prince's Ball (February 10, '25), the Parade and the Parade Ball (February 12, '25) and the Musical Carnival Bingo and Adieu Vasteloavend will take place.

Richtig Gebrook

CCH Gebrook is responsible for many carnival activities in Hoensbroek, including two parades and a children's afternoon, one of which can rightly be called legendary: the Kowrenne! For almost 55 years this unique event has been organized. Two people crawl under one homemade paper cow and participate as a duo in various rounds, including a sprint, obstacle course, shovel cart race and chair dance. On "Carnival Thursday," Feb. 27, 2025, participants compete for the titles the "Smoothest Cow" or "Sjoeënste Cow. On the same day, at 6 p.m., the Youth kowrenne for young people between the ages of 12 and 18 will take place. 

Campaign 

By popular demand, Heerlen is once again getting its own carnival poster this carnival season. Even better: one per city district. The poster can be recognized by its colorful colors, the Richtig Heële, Heëlehei or Gebrook logo and a richtige vasteloavesvierder on the front. The posters will be available for free at various locations throughout the city at the beginning of 2025. In addition, each named district will have its own carnival button and playful promotions. 

On the Richtig Heële website, all carnival activities in the above-mentioned districts but also beyond are collected in one convenient overview. The website addresses richtiggebrook.nl and richtigheelehei.nl will soon lead to the same carnival portal. And Richtig Heële will also convey that unadulterated carnival feeling via Facebook and Instagram.
