Rigorous greening of Eikenderveld

In the preliminary design we looked at places with paving without a function. For example, in Eikenderveld we can remove 2000 m2 of paving and plant new greenery. We will also plant 60 trees and upgrade 10,000 m2 of greenery.

To collaborate

In Eikenderveld we do all this together with residents. And we seek cooperation with housing corporations Woonpunt and Weller to look at greening the outdoor space. 

Across borders

Alderman Marco Peters : "Achieving the maximum result with rigorous greening is only possible together. Together with residents and other parties that are active in a neighborhood. Only then can you look beyond borders. That worked well in Lindeveld and I assume that it will work again in Eikenderveld. In this way, we are actively working on strengthening our neighborhoods and the direct living environment of our residents. We continue to make progress!"

What next?

We will include the information, suggestions and ideas collected in the final design that we will present in January 2025. That is when we will also start the work.
