Debt assistance for (former) entrepreneurs

Do you own your own business and are in debt? We may be able to help you further. You do not always have to end your business if you have debts. Assistance from an expert who looks at your financial situation with you may be sufficient. A viability review of your business may be part of this. If you live in Heerlen but are a (former) entrepreneur in another municipality, you can sometimes also get help. 

Prerequisites:

  • You are registered with the Chamber of Commerce
  • You have owned your own business within the past 5 years

Personally liable?

If there is a company with legal personality (for example, a B.V.), then in principle you are not liable with your private assets for business debts. This is different if you have a sole proprietorship (ZZP), VOF or partnership. You are then liable for the business debts.

Get help in time

We often see entrepreneurs searching for a long time and, out of their passion, drive, pride and great sense of responsibility, often wait (too) long before seeking help. This is a missed opportunity, especially when there is a viable business. At such times, a sparring partner can help you look at the financial situation.
