Does your organization, company, association or foundation have an innovative idea for collaboration to increase a promising start for children in Heerlen? Then you can apply for a subsidy within the program Kansrijk van Start. This program focuses on collaborations between medical and social organizations, with the aim of promoting a conscious and healthy pregnancy and supporting strong, safe parenthood in the first two years of a child's life. Description

Many organizations play a role in the birth and the first years of a child. In order to give children a good start, we want to strengthen the collaboration between these organizations. Do you have a good idea to realize this? Then apply! In 2025, € 90,000 in subsidies will be available. You can apply for a maximum of € 15,000 per project. We process applications on a first-come, first-served basis, so be on time!

Requirements
  • Applications can only be submitted by an association, organization, company or foundation
  • The activity or collaboration is innovative and in Heerlen
  • You can apply for a maximum of €15,000 per idea
  • The subsidy amount may cover 100% of the costs of the described activity.
  • When applying, you must submit a project plan stating the purpose, content, location and budget.
  • The applicant must account for the expenditure within three months after the completion of the initiative. After that, the subsidy is final.
Term

You can apply until the subsidy ceiling has been reached and no later than August 18, 2025. The municipality will assess the applications at 4 points in time:

  • February 15
  • April 15
  • June 15
  • September 15
Objection and appeal

You can object to the decision on your application. Do this within 6 weeks. If you then disagree with the decision on the objection, you can appeal to the court.
