Grant for the AED (defibrillator).

Organizations that own an AED (defibrillator) and are committed to the Heerlen Reanimation Network may be eligible for a grant. By giving a grant, the municipality wants to improve the availability (24/7) of the AEDs.

Description

The municipality provides grants to improve the availability of AEDs in the city. If you have an AED, you can make it available to the Reanimatie Netwerk Heerlen. During a CPR call, citizen responders can deploy this AED to save a life. Does the AED hang inside? Then choose a protective cabinet outside.
This way the AED is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Purpose and amount of the grant

The municipality provides a subsidy for the purchase of a protective AED cabinet. 50% Of the purchase costs up to a maximum of € 400, - excluding VAT.
You will not receive a subsidy for the purchase of an AED. In Heerlen there are already relatively many AEDs.
The other costs such as insurance, maintenance, installation costs, etc. are not reimbursed by the municipality. These are borne by the applicant.
