Stories, memories and items from the Heerlen carnival wanted!

Carnival is alive and well in Heerlen - for generations. With the activity "D'r Heëlesje Vasteloavend, van Doe bis Noe" we bring that rich tradition into Map. We collect stories and objects that make the history of Heerlen's vasteloavend tangible.

Do you still have photos, prince's hats, medals, program booklets, flags, certificates or other carnival treasures lying around? Or a wonderful story that shouldn't be lost? Bring them along! We carefully inventory everything. Items may be donated or loaned - all are welcome.

During this activity, you can also enjoy an ongoing presentation in the room with photos and films of the Heerlen carnival through the years.
