Request guidance for school leavers

Children between the ages of 5 and 18 must attend school until they have a starting qualification. For children from 5 to 16 this is called compulsory education and for children between 16 and 18 it is called qualification duty.

Are you dropping out of school but do not yet have a diploma? Apply for guidance from the municipality or a Transfer Point.

Approach

This is how you apply for counseling for a school leaver:

You contact the municipality or the Flow-through Point.
You provide, among other things:
- why you need guidance
- what guidance you need

Description

If you are a young person leaving school early, it may be difficult to find a job. You can get a personal counselor from a Transfer Point. This person will help you find training or work.

The counselor works with training centers, youth services, social services, UWV and other organizations.
