The municipality offers group health insurance. This saves you money. You can take advantage of this if you have a minimum income.

Rule at VGZ Zuid Limburg

Approach

  • Signing up is easy online. To do so, go to VGZ and click on your municipality. Here you will find all the information about the VGZ Zuid-Limburg package and you can sign up directly.
  • Can't apply online? Then request an application form from VGZ by telephone. You can return this form free of charge, together with a copy of your passport, identity card or residence permit.

If you switch, you must not be in arrears with your current health insurer. VGZ will take care of cancellation with your current health insurance company.

Description

De gemeente biedt mensen met een inkomen tot 150% van het sociaal minimum de mogelijkheid om deel te nemen aan een collectieve zorgverzekering: het VGZ gemeentepakket Zuid-Limburg.
Deze verzekering bestaat uit een basisverzekering met een compacte of een uitgebreide aanvullende verzekering. In de verzekering zijn het wettelijk eigen risico van € 385 en eigen bijdragen meeverzekerd.

Children under 18 are co-insured for free.

The collective insurance VGZ Gemeentepakket Zuid-Limburg consists of:

  • compulsory basic insurance and
  • compact supplemental insurance (for when you use or expect to use less Health ) or
  • comprehensive supplemental insurance (if you need regular or frequent Health )

The reimbursements of the supplementary insurance of VGZ are leading for the municipality. Do you have insurance with another company and do you receive fewer reimbursements there? In that case, you cannot apply for special assistance for the difference.

Requirements

The condition for participation in the VGZ group health insurance plan:

  • U heeft een inkomen tot 150% van het sociaal minimum.

Term

U kunt elk jaar opnieuw uw eigen zorgverzekering kiezen.

  • In de derde week van november krijgt u de nieuwe polis.
  • U kunt overstappen naar een andere zorgverzekeraar voor 1 januari. 
  • Voor het veranderen van uw pakket heeft u de tijd tot 1 februari.
