Bicycle project

For children up to and including elementary school, the municipality of Heerlen has its own bicycle project. Work for Heerlen implements this.

Together with Stichting Leergeld, the municipality gives safe, used bicycles to all children aged 4 to 18. Is the bicycle too small? Then we exchange it for a larger bike. Thus, each child gets 4 bicycles until the child is grown. We have already made hundreds of children happy with a bicycle in recent years.

Does your income not exceed 120% of the social assistance standard and does your child need a new bicycle? Then contact Leergeld Parkstad (Contribution for school supplies, sports or hobby).
