Perhaps you feel that your dear deceased is buried in the wrong place. You would prefer that he or she be given a different spot in the cemetery. Or you may want the deceased to be buried in a completely different cemetery. You must then apply for a permit for reburial.
Is the deceased buried but you still want him or her to be cremated? If so, you must also apply for a permit.

The municipality decides within 8 weeks of receiving your application. The municipality may extend this period once.
You can object to the decision on your application. Do this within 6 weeks. Do you then disagree with the decision on the objection? Then file an appeal with the court.
