If the deceased is younger than 12 years of age, you pay 40% less.

Burials on Monday through Saturday (excluding recognized holidays) between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.:

• for a person aged 12 years and older €788.40
• for a child aged 1 to 12 years €328.70
• for a child up to 1 year old or a stillborn child €66.20

From 3:00 p.m. onwards, these amounts will be increased by €167.00, with an additional €31.70 for each subsequent quarter hour.

Interment in a tomb by third parties €394.00

The funeral director usually arranges the application for grave rights with the municipality. You may also do this yourself.

Would you like to extend the grave right? Request this from the municipality. You can do this starting 2 years before the term expires.

The issuance of a grave is similar to a sale or rental agreement. You cannot object to the municipality's decision on where the grave will be located. However, you can object to the decision on who gets the rights to the grave.
