The funeral director usually arranges the application for grave rights with the municipality. You may also do this yourself.
Would you like to extend the grave right? Request this from the municipality. You can do this starting 2 years before the term expires.
The issuance of a grave is similar to a sale or lease agreement. You cannot object to the municipality's decision on where the grave will be located. However, you can object to the decision on who gets the rights to the grave.
