Apply for electric car charging point

The number of electric cars in the Netherlands is rising rapidly. And that is positive, because driving electric is more sustainable than driving on petrol or diesel. That is why Vattenfall is installing many new charging points in Limburg over the next few years. All charging points are supplied with 100% wind energy from one of Vattenfall´s wind farms in the Netherlands. So by driving electric, you contribute to a cleaner and quieter environment.

Approach

Please contact Vattenfall if you would like to apply for a public charging point or charging card.

Cost

For the Electricity per kWh rate, check with Vattenfall.

Description

Individuals and businesses that drive electric cars cannot always put a charging station on their own property. You can request a public charging point. The municipality chooses where to place the charging station. This can be in an area where there is paid parking. Or in a blue zone. Then you pay parking fees while charging or place your parking disc.

To use the charge points, you also need a charge card. Vattenfall's charging card works at all charging points and you can apply for it free of charge. You will receive the charging card within 3 working days. You can use it immediately.

Vattenfall consults with the municipality where it places the charging station.
