Excerpt from the Non-Residents Register (RNI)

An RNI extract serves as proof that you are registered. The extract always includes your name, date of birth, place of birth, and address. You can also choose to request an extract that includes, for example, your address history or an international extract.

You can view the statement:

  •  Apply online.
  • Or you can come to the front desk. Be sure to make an appointment first. 

What should you bring to your appointment?

  • A valid travel document: a passport or ID card

Are you under 16 years old?

  • A valid travel document: passport or ID card.
  • Always bring an internationally certified copy of your birth certificate. You and at least one parent must bring your own travel documents to the appointment.

Are you requesting a copy for someone else? Then please also bring:

  • A valid travel document: a passport or ID card.
  • A written authorization with signature or a scan of that authorization with signature. Call the municipality and we will send or email you the authorization form.
  • A copy of a valid travel document (passport or ID card) for the person on whose behalf you are applying.

Costs

Rate 2026

  • An extract costs €20.65.
  • A limited overview with corrections is free of charge.

Check carefully which extract you need and request the correct one. You pay when you submit your request. If you request the wrong extract, we will not refund the costs.

Requirements

  • You are listed in the Non-Residents Register (RNI).
  • The person for whom you are requesting the extract is listed in the RNI.
