Extract from the Non-Resident Registration (RNI)

An extract from the RNI shows that you are registered in the Non-Residents Registration. The extract shows your name, date of birth, place of birth and address.
Other data are also possible. 

Approach

Do you have an appointment at the counter? Bring along :

  • Your valid proof of identity: a passport or ID card showing your nationality. You cannot use a residence permit or E-document for this purpose.

Are you requesting a transcript for someone else? If so, please include:

  • Your valid ID.
  • A written authorization with signature or a scan of that authorization with signature.
  • A copy of the valid ID of the person for whom you are applying.

    Children up to 15 years old
  • Always bring a birth certificate (no older than 6 months) and valid identification if records need to be corrected.
  • Children must bring themselves to the appointment.

  • A limited review with corrections is free

Check carefully which extract you need and request the correct extract. You pay at the time of application. If you request an incorrect extract, we will not reimburse these costs.

Description

Clearly state what you need the extract for. For example, because your employer requests it. The extract will then contain the correct information.

Requirements
  • You are listed in the Non-Residents Registration (RNI).
  • The person for whom you are requesting the extract is listed in the RNI.
