Excerpt from the Non-Residents Register (RNI)
An RNI extract serves as proof that you are registered. By default, the extract includes your name, date of birth, place of birth, and address. However, you can also choose to request an extract that includes, for example, your address history or an international extract.
Approach
You can request the transcript online or visit the service desk. If you would like to visit the service desk, please make an appointment first.
Bring along At the counter:
- A valid travel document: a passport or ID card
Are you under 16 years old?
- A valid travel document: passport or ID card.
- Always bring an internationally certified copy of the birth certificate. You and at least one parent must be present at the appointment with your own travel document.
Are you requesting a copy for someone else? Then please also bring:
- A valid travel document: a passport or ID card.
- A written authorization with signature or a scan of that authorization with signature. Call the municipality and we will send or email you the authorization form.
- A copy of a valid travel document (passport or ID card) for the person on whose behalf you are applying.
