Excerpt from the Non-Residents Register (RNI)

An RNI extract serves as proof that you are registered. By default, the extract includes your name, date of birth, place of birth, and address. However, you can also choose to request an extract that includes, for example, your address history or an international extract.

Approach

You can request the transcript online or visit the service desk. If you would like to visit the service desk, please make an appointment first. 

Bring along At the counter:

  • A valid travel document: a passport or ID card

Are you under 16 years old?

  • A valid travel document: passport or ID card.
  • Always bring an internationally certified copy of the birth certificate. You and at least one parent must be present at the appointment with your own travel document.

Are you requesting a copy for someone else? Then please also bring:

  • A valid travel document: a passport or ID card.
  • A written authorization with signature or a scan of that authorization with signature. Call the municipality and we will send or email you the authorization form.
  • A copy of a valid travel document (passport or ID card) for the person on whose behalf you are applying.

Costs

Rate 2026

  • An extract costs €20.65.
  • A limited overview with corrections is free of charge.

Check carefully which extract you need and request the correct one. You pay when you submit your request. If you request the wrong extract, we will not refund the costs.

Description

Clearly state why you need the extract. For example, because your employer has requested it. The extract will then contain the correct information.

Requirements

  • You are listed in the Non-Residents Register (RNI).
  • The person for whom you are requesting the extract is listed in the RNI.
