Report suspicious situation

Do you see a situation that you don't trust? For example, a store where customers never come? Or an empty barn where people are regularly? Report it to the municipality.

Approach

In the event of immediate danger, call 911.

Here's how to report subversive crime:

Description

Criminals also need non-criminals for their activities. For example, they rent a house to store stolen items. The landlord of the house thus becomes involved in the criminal activities. Even though the landlord may not know this himself. This is an example of subversive crime.

The municipality works with the police and prosecutor's office (OM) to tackle crime. But undermining crime is sometimes hard to see. You can help by reporting suspicious situations. For example:

  • a store or restaurant where customers never come
  • a hairdresser where you can never make an appointment
  • A vacant barn where you see people regularly
  • dumped drug waste
  • someone with no income who has an expensive car
