    Neighborhoods in Heerlen are starting WhatsApp groups with a view to neighborhood prevention. Residents use WhatsApp to warn each other about suspicious situations.

    Do you think someone is not following the rules? Report this to the municipality. You can ask them to take action.

    Can you hear the air raid sirens? Go into the nearest building and close the doors and windows. Turn on the radio or TV or visit Crisis.nl.

  • Report suspicious situation

    Do you see a situation that you don't trust? Such as a store that never has any customers? Report it online to the municipality.

    You are allowed to set off fireworks during New Year's Eve. The fireworks must be on the list of permitted fireworks.
