Submit views
If you disagree with a plan or decision of the municipality, you can submit your views. You can send your views by mail or orally to the municipality.
For example, you can submit your views if a new zoning plan is given for the parcel where you live and you disagree with it.
Approach
You can submit your views in writing or orally. It can be oral only if it is indicated in the publication.
This is how you submit your views orally:
- Make an appointment at the municipality.
- Submit your views.
- The municipality will make a record of your oral views.
- You sign the report.
- The municipality will send you a personal message with the final decision.
This is how you submit your views in writing:
- Send your views to the municipality. This will state:
- your name and address
- the plan or decision with which you disagree. For example, include a copy of the draft or write down the case number.
- Why you disagree with the draft or decision
- the date you write the view
- your signature
- possibly a written authorization with signature
- You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of your written views.
- The municipality will send you a personal message with the final decision.
