Booking sports and meeting facilities

The municipality of Heerlen manages facilities for indoor sports, meetings, and social activities. These include sports halls, gyms, and community facilities. You can rent these spaces for (sports) activities, meetings, or small activities organized by and for local residents. You are not permitted to organize large commercial events in these spaces.

Are you new and booking accommodation for the first time? Then create an account. Don't have an account? Then you can create an account after checking availability. We will then send you an email with your login ID. In the system, you can view the availability of the accommodations and make a reservation. You can pay with iDeal.

Costs

You pay for the rental of accommodation per hour using iDeal. The amounts vary per room or field. The costs of the sports accommodation can be found in the regulations for usage fees for (sports) accommodations in Heerlen.

When booking meeting facilities, the system defaults to a semi-commercial rate. You cannot change this yourself. If you are eligible for a different rate, we will adjust this afterwards.

The municipality has a digital reservation system. In the reservation system, you can find out which accommodations are available and when. You can also reserve a room.

Who is permitted to reserve the indoor sports facilities?

When booking, regular users, such as schools and associations, are given priority. These regular users can reserve their timeslots for the season.

Who can reserve the meeting facilities?

These meeting facilities can be used for association meetings and small-scale activities organized by and for local residents. The sale, serving, or consumption of alcohol is not permitted. You can request coffee, tea, and water to be provided for your meeting.
