Reserve sports and meeting facilities

The Municipality of Heerlen manages accommodations for indoor sports, meetings and social activities. Think of a sports hall, sports hall, gymnasium or community facilities. You can rent these spaces for (sports) activities, meetings or small activities by and for local residents. You may not organize large commercial events in these spaces.

Are you new and booking accommodation for the first time? Then please create an account. Don't have an account? Then you can create an account after viewing availability. We will send you a mail with your login id. In the system you can view the availability of the accommodations and make a reservation. You pay with iDeal.

Cost

Accommodation rentals are paid by the hour with iDeal. The amounts differ per room or field. The costs of the sports accommodation can be found in the regulation user fees (sports) accommodations Heerlen.

When booking a meeting accommodation, the system defaults to a semi-commercial rate. You cannot change this yourself yet. If you fall under a different rate, we will settle it afterwards.

The municipality has a digital reservation system. In the reservation system, you can find out which accommodation is free when. You may also reserve a space.

Who gets to reserve indoor sports facilities?

  • schools
  • individuals

When booking, regular users, such as schools and clubs, are given priority. These regular users can have their times blocked for the season. 

Who gets to reserve the meeting accommodations?

  • foundations and (sports) associations
  • schools
  • individuals

You may use these meeting accommodations for association meetings and small-scale activities by and for local residents. Alcohol sales, alcohol dispensing or alcohol consumption is not allowed. You may ask before the meeting if coffee, tea and water can be provided for you.
