Grant playgrounds

This grant is intended for associations and foundations. These aim to organize playground work within a certain (city) part of Heerlen. As an association or foundation you can apply for an annual subsidy for the management and running of the playground. You can also apply for a one-time subsidy for, for example:

  • the purchase of new playground equipment
  • major maintenance on splash pools
  • major maintenance on playground buildings. It must be necessary for the performance of playground work.

Approach

You can apply for a grant each year. Apply for the subsidy on time. There is a fixed amount set aside each year. Information not properly completed or attachments not included? This may affect the amount of the subsidy. 

Description

The municipality enters into an implementation agreement with these organizations. The municipality decides whether you will receive a financial contribution and in what form. 

Requirements

The Requirements are:

  • Only the Stichting Samenwerkende Speeltuinen Hoensbroek, the Stichting Speeltuinen Heerlen Stad Oost, Stichting speeltuin Heksenberg, Speeltuinvereniging 't Baanrakkertje and the Stichting Vrijetijdscentrum voor de jeugd can apply for a playground subsidy.
  • The activities must fit within the policy choices made by the council and the college.
  • You must substantiate that what you want to achieve can be done with the financial resources available to you. This includes the grant to be awarded.
  • You must substantiate your effectiveness.
  • Everyone within the target group, regardless of religion, race or sexual orientation should be able to participate in the activities.
  • Activities must not be contrary to law, the public interest and/or public order.

Term

The municipality will make a decision within 12 weeks of receiving your application.

Objection and appeal

You can object to the decision on your application. Do this within 6 weeks. If you then disagree with the decision on the objection, you can appeal to the court.
