The minimum fee for an exemption is €28.55. You must pay this at the counter when you pick up your items.

Description

In some areas, you are not allowed to park for extended periods of time. Examples include paid parking spaces, pedestrian zones, permit-only zones, or other car-free zones. If you need to park your vehicle in a car-free zone for an extended period of time, you must request permission from the municipality.

The condition for seeking permission is:

  • You can prove that you need the exemption for this location.

Term

Please apply for the exemption at least two weeks in advance. We need this time to process your application.

Objections and appeals

Do you disagree with the municipality's decision? Then you can file an objection. By doing so, you can explain why you disagree. You must object within 6 weeks. The municipality will then make a new decision.

Do you disagree with the new decision? Then you can ask the court whether the municipality has made the right decision. This is called 'appealing'. You must do this within six weeks. You can only appeal if you have lodged an objection.
