Parking of large vehicles

You may not park a large vehicle along the road for an extended period of time.

This prohibition does not apply to areas designated by the municipality.

Description

If you want to park a large vehicle along the road, you must follow some general rules. These rules are designed to prevent or limit nuisance to the surrounding area as much as possible.

However, when performing work (requiring a vehicle), large vehicles may temporarily park on the road.

You may park large vehicles in the locations listed below.

  • Industrial area The Beitel 
  • Industrial area De Koumen
  • Industry Street
  • Parking lot sports complex Kaldeborn
  • Parking lot sports hall Varenbeuk
  • Parking lot sports hall Terveurdt (In the Biessen)
  • Trade area Emma
  • Unolaan
  • Green Board 
  • Coriovallum street (near the thermal baths) 

Terms

The conditions for parking a large vehicle along the road are:

  • your vehicle does not occupy a parking space for too long
  • the view of nearby residents will not be disturbed by your vehicle
  • your vehicle is not defective
